**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team in an assisted living setting. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of meals while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

**Shift hours:** (Schedule will rotate)

• Monday - Friday: 11am - 6:30pm
• Saturday: 6am-2:30pm or 10:30am-6:30pm

**Duties:**

- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals following specific dietary requirements

- Set up dining areas and tray carts for meal services

- Clean kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils

- Ensure food safety standards are met during all stages of food handling

- Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations

**Requirements:**

- Prior experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred

- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with residents and staff professionally

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Understanding of dietary restrictions and modifications

- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils used in food production
